St. Paul's Bones

Interestingly, the Pope has announced two cool discoveries about St. Paul over the last few days, and this one is especially neat on the Feast Day of Sts. Peter and Paul. Scientific testing has indicated that the relics we venerate as St. Paul's really seem to be his.

It is amazing to read stuff like this especially as a non-Catholic. Before studying Catholicism, I never realized that for centuries and centuries, Christians have had relics and bones of old saints but no one has ever found the bones of Jesus. And now, to read this -- I didn't even know, or had forgotten, that there were bones possibly from Paul. If that is true, it is amazing.

No one has found the bones of Mary either....something apologists love to point to about her Assumption.

Praise God! A few yrs ago I watched a program (on the history channel I think), on St. Peter's remains...which they were able to prove were his! It's awesome to know that we actually have both.
