As beautiful as cathedrals are, the one thing I don't like about them, is the sense I always get of, "Look, but don't touch". I must have a trace of byzantine blood in me, because I'm always wanting to kiss and touch (if not hold) whatever relics, statues, pictures I happen to be contemplating. Cathedrals are too museum-like for me.

I just learned that a Cathedral is the HQ for a Bishop. Y'all knew that, but it's new here. Cool pics!
